Ashley Furniture HomeStore and Varsity Zone are honoring the best scholar athletes attending high schools in Arizona. Each month throughout the school year, two athletes will each be awarded a $500 scholarship for continued education.
Make sure you submit your application early so you have the best chance to win.
The contest is open to all Arizona high school seniors who have participated in at least one full season of a team or individual sport and who intend to receive further education past high school.
The judges for the Ashley Furniture HomeStore Scholar Athlete Award choose candidates based on the applicant’s community involvement, participation in a high school sport and a series of short answer questions.
The enclosed application further explains all the rules and regulations.
We will pick our first winner September 2. If you don’t win, your application will be considered again the following week.

Along with the application, please upload the following items:
- One letters of recommendation from a coach, which also indicates your high school enrollment and enrollment in an Arizona high school.
- A color photo.
